Truest Kind Headlines: Alissa Turney, Nancy Hanson of Newton, Mass, Elijah Lewis, Merrimack, NH case update, Humanizing the Women of Gilgo Beach - two of whom are from New England - Shannan Gilbert, Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman (Scarborough, Maine), Amber Costello, Maureen Brainard-Barnes (Norwalk, Connecticut), Valerie Mack, and Jessica Taylor - PLUS the status of unknown and unsolved missing person and murder cases in Massachusetts.

Gilgo Beach: I am taken with this story. The more I learn, the worse it feels. The brutality these women experienced, it is unimaginable. Let me be clear, no one deserves this. Not someone addicted, not someone whose kids were taken away, not someone experiencing mental health issues, not someone involved in sex work. Thousands of women every day are trafficked into this lifestyle. But this is not about the phenomenon of sex work. This is about these women. And how men target and abuse and mutilate and kill people like them that they decide no one cares about. It simply is not true.

Like Chance The Rapper sings, “ Everybody's somebody's everything, Nobody's nothing.”
