S03E18: THE MURDER OF SKYLAR NEESE

Skylar Neese was a typical teenager living with her parents in Star City, West Virginia in July 2012. One night, security cameras capture her sneaking out of her house and into the backseat of a white vehicle parked nearby. When her parents find her bedroom empty the next day and she doesn't show up for work, she is reported missing to the police.

As the weeks and months drag on with no sign of Skylar, rumors run rampant throughout her high school. Suspicion soon falls onto her two closest friends, Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf and people believe they know more about what happened to Skylar than they're willing to admit.

This is the story of a seemingly random and unexplainable act of evil and how the violent truth finally emerges months later, when the pressure becomes too much for Rachel Shoaf to bear.
