What should have been a focus on the showdown between Michael and Laurie, becomes a (sloppy?) character study on a budding serial killer. What prompted this shift? Are we just supposed to forget how the last movie ended? And why on Earth are we introducing new elements and characters during the third act? Buckle up for HALLOWEEN ENDS!!
