You’re my friend ‘til the end. Hidey ho! This week we get down with a dastardly dolly - it’s Child’s Play. Don Mancini’s hit that never ends has the esteemed curse of having a cult following and yet, doesn’t seem to have the mainstream love as its slasher brethren. We look at whether the esteem is deserved. Does the supernatural element work? What’s a horror movie like with a proper child as the protagonist? Is Andy psychologically damaged? And most importantly, is a movie about a killer doll actually scary?
