This is when your Life as an Artist Begins.
Nothing brings me more joy than painting and helping people create their dream life and business, especially artists.
I say this, because today is an important day. For you the shift may be subtle, but for me it's BIG. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter of Creative Thursday.
Fifteen years ago, I draped a blue tarp across my bed, piled it with 5 small-ish canvases. I grabbed my paints, started painting, and I couldn't stop. In fact I never stopped painting again after that moment.
What was the turning point for me? What made me commit to my creativity - after years of stopping and starting with my art, questioning my "talent", and my right to call myself an artist, which turned to months of leaving one unfinished canvas resting on a flimsy easel, followed by reading "Walking in this World", "The Artist's Way" and "The Right to Write" all books by Julia Cameron - what made me commit to my creativity so much so that it became a thriving business? When did I give myself permission to pursue my dream of pursuing my Art?
It all started with A Paint Brush and a Dream.
And then the dream of supporting myself with work I love, grew bigger than me. It grew into a desire of helping fellow Artists with the same dream of turning their passion into profit.
Today is a celebration of Artists, Dreams and a brand new vision coming into focus.
