Andrew "Drew" Smith is my old friend and fellow former educator. We both taught for half a decade or so before venturing into different careers. However, our training--both in content and in pedagogy--prepared us surprisingly well for our chosen paths.

Listen as we discuss our best and worst memories, how teachers REALLY talk in the teachers' lounge (sadly, it's always very good), and what it was like for Drew as an intern trying to teach non-English speaking refugees who were illiterate in their native language and never received formal education.
