Kelly creates hand-drawn pet portraits in pen and colored pencil that will amaze you. We find out why animals are easier to capture than humans for Kelly, as well as the process of her pet portraits, which includes learning a pet’s personality in order to capture their essence properly. 

In this episode, you’ll hear what pets are the most challenging, what’s the most unusual pet she’s been asked to draw, and how she wants to mix it up in the future with different textures like scales and horns! Kelly shares her journey as an artist, the challenges of pricing, and dealing with imposter syndrome when teaching.
