In this episode of Creative Guts, co-hosts Laura Harper Lake and Sarah Wrightsman sit down with Justice McDaniel, better known as Justice Eats Trees, a self-described artist, musician, and enthusiastic weirdo. Justice is a general maker of things and doer of too much stuff! Justice was raised by a musician and has been drawing since he could hold stuff, so you can say he’s been a creator for a long time. Justice tells us a bit about his time spent as a touring musician, his desire to create art that is accessible, and encourages people to engage with art. His ideas come from weird, bad days, and his paintings tend to start in the woods. And, if you’re wondering about the name, Justice Eats Trees, tune in to find out!

Find Justice McDaniel on Instagram — his handle is JusticeEatsTrees and follow the LinkTree rabbit hole from there. You can listen to Justice’s music on Bandcamp at https://justiceeatstrees.bandcamp.com/.
