In this episode of Creative Guts, co-hosts Laura Harper Lake and Sarah Wrightsman sit down with

Jess Furtado, of Jess of All Trades, a multidisciplinary artist who works in photography, paint, collage, and creative writing. Less than a year ago, Jess took a leap of faith and quit her full-time job to spend more time on her art, and moved into a studio at Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery. In this episode, we talk about how she strikes a balance between her client-facing work and her own art. We’ll talk about what inspires Jess, which includes everything from music, movies, pop culture, and more; how the coronavirus pandemic pushed her art forward; and how her parents nurtured her creativity growing up.
