Gabriel Lay joins us in the studio for a very special episode 4. Gabriel works in logistics full-time, and produces music part time. Having been producing for a very long time and truly understands all the elements that need to come together in order to make a cohesive piece of music. Having experience in various instruments, Gabriel is truly a lifelong lover and learner in all things related to music. He is also a very fine drawer, having dabbled in the fine arts since his very youthful years. Co-host Anthony and Gabriel have travelled many distances together including many states and countries. They have connected through their love of all art-forms including: Film, Music, Art, Graphic Design and Photography. In the future, Gabriel aims to continue his passions in music and evolve his sound, whilst still staying true to the music he wants to create.

In this episode as we do with all of our guests, we discuss Gabriels journey as a creative, and how he discovered his passion for music. We talk about his inspirations, who’s work and sounds influenced the way he creates. We get his views on music production and how it has changed and progressed over the years. This stemmed into a discussion about listening platforms, similarly to film, how the music industry has turned from physical items such as CD’s and vinyls to now the dominance of online streaming platforms. Gabriel counts down his top 5 musicians that he has seen live, and what made them stand out amongst the rest, and finally we end on the crowd favourite “what have you been listening to lately?”.

Thankyou Gabriel for joining us in the studio, we hope you all enjoy the show and stay tuned for more conversations coming soon.
