On this week’s episode of The Creative Corner, Miss Manda talks with Gabriel Cruz Maldonado, a scientist turned digital artist. Gabi researched exercise and depression during his Master’s. While mental health was a passion of his, he never felt that research was for him, causing him to turn to art. In 2020, he began drawing portraits and pet portraits for over a year until he discovered NFTs, creating his Petal Squad NFT project that seeks to dismantle toxic masculinity.
