College athletes are beginning to think like professionals when developing their brands and pursuing sponsor deals due to the NCAA's recent authorization of name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights. Since they can now also make a sizable income through endorsements, the distinction between college and professional athletes in this regard has all but vanished.
