We are short changing our marriages when we refuse that love is patient.
Love is a verb. It requires action on your part. When you say "I Do," you are agreeing to participate in the relationship.

"Love is patient, love is kind." ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4When you hear "love is patient", what does that mean?
Patient is an adjective. That describes your love (agape). You are called to have patient love.
Definition: able to tolerate or to accept delays, problems, or sufferings without becoming annoyed or anxious.
Love is able to tolerate. Love is able to accept.
Love is patient is two-fold. You have to look at it from your reflection and then from your spouse. It's a double-edge sword.
In other words, it cuts deep.
Are you fulfilling this.... Love is patient?
And are you even trying?
Because it's that vital in your marriage. You can't keep score. You have to look at your love actions. What do they represent?
