As a junior and U23 rider Mads was one of the best! In his first pro-season as a 20-year old with QuickStep he even finished the Giro d'Italia. But just being a huge talent didn't make Mads happy. Listen to him tell about how the pro-life didn't suit him; how he quit cycling completely; how he found the passion again and his return to WorldTour level 4 years later. Today Mads is a huge gravel enthusiast and driving the largest online and offline gravel community in Denmark as well as running CYCLO Position - a bike-fit and therapist studio. Currently, he is planning an exciting gravel event - Unsupported Grinder - in August 2021.
