When an injury ended Christian's career as professional soccer player in the Danish Superliga he turned to cycling. This took a dramatic turn on August 24th, 2019 when a crash paralyzed him from the waist and down. Listen to Christian tell about his horrific crash and how he was fighting for his life for two hours before help arrived. During those two hours he was already looking ahead to a new life in a wheelchair and began a mental healing process. Opportunities show up when you least expect them, and today he is working hard on his preparations to qualify for the Para-Olympics 2024!
