Starting April 30th Alberta see another expansion on its 2nd phase of its vaccine rollout, adding additional measures to some communities that have been hit hardest.
This new phase will combine phase 2c and 2d while also adding groups not previously included :
- Parents and Guardians of children aged 12 and under who qualify for 2b but were unable to be vaccinated due to age
- Front Line Police, Provincial Sheriffs and Fire Fighters
- As well as all albertans aged 50 to 64 and all first nations, metis and inuit people aged 35-49

Apart of the new rollout saw new provisions to some communities hit hardest by Covid including the municipality of wood buffalo, banff and first nations communities north east of edmonton.

These communities will recieve a shipment of Johnson and Johnsons Jansen Vaccine ( Wood Buffalo and Banff ) while the first nations communities will recieve the Modurna vaccine. Age eligibility for both populations has also been lowered to anyone over the age of 30.
