This week the university's student union president released a statement covering the frustration and disappointment students are currently facing with distanced learning and upcoming in person exam questions. Rowan Ley comments covered invasive online proctoring and limitations for international students experiencing network problems and accessibility issues. Rowan also said that this past quarter has been more frustrating than previous with outdated course material and under engagement being a few things that are further frustrating students amidst the financial requirements expected from them.

The student union also released a survey done between January 25th-31st that received over 1200 responses to questions regarding this past winter semester. These answers can be found through a google document in articles locally covering this topic. This Thursday student union leaders will meet with representatives of the universities to cover these frustrations of online learning and hopefully find a solution as the semester comes to a close.
