Activity throughout the month, not just to work!

If you’re feeling like you’re just not getting enough activity in riding or walking to work or would like to check something out during daylight hours, consider walking or wheeling to various events around Edmonton this month.

Things you can check out include:

The Deep Freeze: which is a Byzantine Winter Festival that features a mix of Ukrainian traditions, Francophone history and Indigenous cultural performances.  The festival includes a wide selection of food, light installations, and ice sculptures and you can find it at Borden Park and Pipon Village (92 Street and 118 Avenue) running until the 23rd of this month

Another way to get your winter walk or wheel in is to head on over to the Ice on Whyte Festival starting on the 27th of January and running until the 6th of February.  This festival features artists creating stunning ice sculptures.

As well, now is the time to start planning your winter Wheel to Work Day participation on February 11 and your attendance at the e-global Winter Cycling Congress that runs February 11 and 12!
