Dean Stott is a former British Special Forces Soldier who left the military after suffering a severe knee injury in a parachuting accident in 2011. He then established a distinguished career in the private security sector; he was renowned for his willing to take on any job, no matter how dangerous. In 2018, Dean completed the 14,000 mile Pan American Highway route from Argentina to Alaska by bike, gaining two world records and raising an incredible amount of money for charity in the process. His book, Relentless, is now available in paperback & audiobook.

In this episode, we discuss his time in the Special Forces, how he prepared for his record breaking cycle challenge, and how he nearly took a different path and became a full-time surfer.
