**Biography :**

Narelle is a Singapore-based singer and actress. She made her debut as part of local pop quartet The Sam Willows as their bassist and vocalist.

Before her debut, she studied Theatre Studies and Drama in junior college, which has led to an acting career alongside her music one. She started off working with Cake Theatre Productions before a few cameo roles on some drama serials and a lead role on a Toggle Series. Narelle has also been featured on fashion and lifestyle magazines like CLEO and FEMALE Singapore.

Narelle has since cemented herself as one of Singapore’s most recognizable entertainers, moving into a solo venture with the release of her first single “Outta My Head” under Sony Music Singapore in the early half of 2019. The song was a natural choice for a first single and illustrates Narelle at her most authentic, raw self; confronting the inevitable human tendency to indulge in toxicity. The song is a sincere exploration of the deep-seated emotions and state of mind in the struggle to process anger, confusion and hurt.

As part of The Sam Willows, she has participated in numerous local and international festivals and events including the SXSW Festival in Texas, Ultra Singapore and Summer Sonic in Japan. She has also worked with internationally renowned producers and songwriters. The Sam Willows are also named in the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, which features young and influential disruptors, innovators andentrepreneurs in Asia.
