Episode Six of Coronavirus Central looks much more deeply into the ACE-II pathway by which Covid infects humans and what implications result. We start by examining the nature of the Angiotensin Converting Enzyme, revealing it is an essential component of all humans with heavy clusters in the lower respiratory system, and being used to regulate blood pressure. As we review news and studies based both on Covid and SARS which uses this same mechanism, we learn of the threat not just from infection, but from reinfection where the immune system may begin attacking our own cardiovascular function when it tries to fight off this virus, in a cytokine storm similar to what happened with the Spanish Flu. Considering this two-tier threat to public health, we consider the potential that Covid could be a bioweapon in light of certain actions by the PLA and a troubling document that suggests at least some people in China were made aware of this threat weeks before the general public.
