#009. Every Wednesday, we grab our passports and take a choir tour around the world to see what's going on in different corners of the globe. The itinerary includes Sydney, Australia, the Czech Republic, London, England, and a sit down in Aveiro, Portugal to spend time with Dr. Aoife Hiney. Aoife is the founder of Voz Nua, a non-professional adult choir that rehearses at the University of Aveiro, where she works as a researcher. Voz Nua's approach is unique, where the Singers contribute to performance interpretation, whether they have a Masters degree in conducting or are new to choral music. Aoife is rehearsing with her choir both virtually and in person.  But she feels the weight of taking this calculated risk.
