#012. Recently, The New York Times declared the U.S. college campus as the new covid hot spot. When Texas Christian University cancels its opening football game, you know it's serious. To-date, there have been approximately 88,000 college covid cases across America. Only 27% of colleges tested students when they first arrived on campus. Because it's expensive - as much as $100 per test - it's no surprise that there is a strong correlation between the size of the university's endowment and the amount of testing. Spend some time with Dr. Elizabeth Cassidy Parker of Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music where she is an Associate Professor in Music Education to hear how Temple's coping. Her message is a hopeful one! Today's featured choral music is "No Time," arranged by Susan Brumfield, as sung by Pennsylvania Girlchoir under the direction of Dr. Parker.
