Of Bangarangs & Daggers Episode 49: A Look At Nebrasketball Draft History

We’re back with another episode of: Bangarangs & Daggers. This week we are following up a weekend of watching the NFL draft with a look at the historical record of Nebrasketball players drafted in the NBA draft. How many Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball players have been drafted? What were the draftees professional career like? Finally, how does the Husker draftee count compare with other Big Ten schools? We take a look to try and answer all these questions this week.
Making another guest appearance, Kevin’s husband Brad joins the show as the two break down the Husker draft history. As mentioned in the show, here is the complete list of draftees:
Also mentioned in the pod, here is how you all voted over the weekend for who had the best career out of those drafted. We do hope certain individuals will accept our invitation to join the pod down the road to talk about Huskers who weren’t drafted and their professional career after their time in Lincoln.
All vote counts considered, we decided to forgo a head to head match-up as the vote counts clearly indicate fans picked Tyronn Lue as the best career by a drafted Cornhusker with Eric Piatkowski coming in second.
