In our global society, there is a high prevalence for street harassment. In 2014, a representative survey of 2,000 Americans was conducted. 25% of men and 65% of women reported having been the victims of street harassment in their lives, which is a form of harassment, primarily sexual harassment that consists of unwanted comments, gestures, honking, and etc by strangers in public areas such as streets, shopping malls, and public transportation. Not only does this type of harassment occur on the street, but it also carries over into the workplace in varying degrees.

Today's guest has been fully involved in combating street harassment since 2005. Emily May, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of  Hollaback.
