Welcome to the Cook ‘N‘ Goals show, today we talk to Dr Brooke Clinton, the founder of Capital Scraps, a curbside collection and composting service in Canberra, Australia. Brooke has completed her PhD in biodegradation and has a passion for helping the environment combat climate change. Capital scraps is a for profit social enterprise which collects household food waste from the community and composts it on public land for all to see. We discuss the process of starting her business to where she is now with 6 bins in Canberra, the pros and cons of composting, as well as the experience of teaching others the ins and outs of proper 30 day hot composting.
