Grandmaster Sin Kwang Thé is the third grandmaster in the martial arts lineage of Shaolin. At the age of 7, he was accepted as a Shaolin student in Indonesia, enduring many tests and trials to assert his worthiness. By the age of 25, he was awarded the 10th degree of red belt making Master Sin the youngest Grandmaster in the history of the Shaolin art. Master Sin has since courageously pioneered this style of martial arts in the United States. As an entrepreneur of Sin Thé Karate School, author of The Last Grandmaster, and an avid practitioner of walking Qigong, Grandmaster Sin offers a unique perspective on wellness.

In today’s episode, host Shay Beider welcomes Master Sin to delve into the rich history of the Shaolin art and his miraculous achievement as the youngest Grandmaster. Master Sin shares how his journey to martial arts began, his experience venturing to the United States, and the various paths he has taken in his career –– such as pursuing a Ph.D. in nuclear science, engineering a sports complex in Kentucky, and training over half a million students in the art of Shaolin. Master Sin guides listeners through the practice of walking Qigong.

The 5 Levels of Qigong Walking Meditation:

I Accept - Accept everything in your life exactly as it is without resistance I Appreciate - Move through your five senses one by one and appreciate all of the information you take in as a sensory being. Notice what you taste, smell, hear, see, and feel.  I am Grateful - Practice feeling grateful. Reflect on specific people, places, things, and experiences you are grateful for in your life.  Unconditional Love - Call up specific experiences of unconditional love in your life. Notice how that feels to remember being unconditionally loved by another. Radiant State - Allow yourself to radiate love to all beings everywhere. As you move about your life, feel radiance emanating to those around you.
