What is a content audit?

A content audit is the process of collecting and analyzing your content across your platforms (blog, YouTube, podcast, etc.) and social media channels.

A content audit keeps track of all the content you've created on social media and your platforms. A content audit helps give you insights to improve content that is not resonating with your audience and shows you what your high performing content is.

Step 1: Outline your goals

Before you jump into analyzing which posts performed well and didn't perform well, think about what you want to accomplish.

Do you want to produce content that's in line with your brand and your content pillars?Do you want to create brand clarity across all your posts? (example: if you're a fashion account, you can see fashion reflected in all your posts)Do you want to learn what type of content your audience responds to?
