Today we’re sharing 5 places to find inspiration when you’re in a creative rut. If you’ve ever been in a creative block, you know how frustrating it can be figure out how to overcome it or find inspiration. We hope today’s episode can help you find inspiration if you need it.   

Before you look for inspiration, we recommend pivoting. If you’re experience feelings of frustration, anger, or discouragement around hitting a creative block and not knowing what to create, it’s a sign that it’s time to pivot.

1.     First, recognize that you’re experiencing a negative emotion. Remember that our emotions and our intuition are here to help us recognize when we need to pivot or switch our focus. If you’re experiencing a negative emotion, stop and recognize it.

2.     Next, ask yourself what is it that you do want?

Do you want to continue creating?Do you want a break?Do you want to create something different from your peers?

3.     Once you figure out what you do want, it’s time to shift your perspective or your attention to what you do want.

Idea #1: Scroll through Pinterest

 Pinterest is made for pinning ideas. Even if you aren’t actively pinning your blog post or your TikTok videos, Pinterest is a great resource for new ideas especially seasonal content.

Idea #2: Instagram

If you’re looking for posing ideas, tips, or photo shoot locations, Instagram is a great resource for that. When you save posts, you can create separate folders to organize the content you save.
