Jerry Buting is a criminal defense attorney based in Wisconsin. He is best known as Steven Avery's attorney, featured in the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer. He is also the author of the book Illusion of Justice and a co-founder of the Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences.
