He was the officer who evacuated the Senate and House chambers and has now become a whistleblower against Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman, accusing her of sitting on intel and setting up the officers for failure. Tarik believes that J6 was not an insurrection, but a coup led by corrupt leadership inside the Capitol. He believes that House Republicans need to focus on what she knew, when she knew it, why she refused to respond to Johnson’s requests for help evacuating the chambers, and her behavior since the day itself. He connects the dots on how she knew exactly what would happen that day but not only failed to prepare for it, she or others in leadership ordered the confiscation of riot helmets right before J6.
