Semi-autocratic rather than a fully autocratic regime  (Trump is somewhat like Hitler - or Putin, etc.)

Unpopular incumbent & popular candidate (or prime minister)

United and organized opposition to debate election results

An ability to drive home the point that voting results was falsified

Independent media to inform citizens of falsified votes (in this case just simply not cover vote/election issues)

A political opposition capable to mobilize tens of thousands of people to protest electoral fraud

Division among regime's coercive forces (police & military)
