The Original New Jersey Vegans from The Vegan Local featuring their Founders Marisa Sweeney and Kendra Arnold

In this episode we welcome two of the OGs from the New Jersey vegan scene, Kendra and Marisa who are the founders of the New Jersey Vegfest & The Vegan Local. Prior to COVID these, vegantrepreneurs, were throwing huge vegan festivals bringing 8000 plus people together, with over 250 vendors.
They are so welcoming to all, you don’t need to be a full-fledged vegan to enjoy the party. But since COVID hit, and devastated their event calendar, they decided to pivot and help those very vendors go digital. The Vegan Local is an online specialty market that features all your favorite vegan and plant based food from your area in the United States.  
In this episode they express the challenges of being a business owner and having to constantly innovate, especially in the times we are in.
