In today's episode we interview Erin Christopher-Sisk, the founder of Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga. Their mission is to support retired racehorses which then are retrained as therapy horses. Equine Assisted Learning connects therapy horses with vulnerable members of the community. Both adults and children can participate in their therapeutic programs.
Erin shares with us how she was able to combine her career with her love for horses to create a nonprofit that is truly making a difference. We learn about the horses that she uses in her therapy and how she is able to use them in promoting therapeutic wellness in mental health treatment.
