In this episode we interview Bejal Shah, the Communications Chair at Little Essentials. Their mission is to offer at-risk families living in poverty, urgently needed children’s supplies and parenting education to promote the health, well being and safety of their children under five years of age.

Today, 30% of children in New York City live in poverty and Bejal shares with us the programs that Little Essentials offers to help these families in need. We discuss the inspiration to start the organization and learn about the long-term goals and vision of Little Essentials. It was a pleasure interviewing Bejal and learning more about the impact that Little Essentials is having in New York City.
