Every Friday morning I recap my week and budget to help me stay on track with my BIG goals. This is what works for me.👇🏼👇🏼
Ask yourself and write down the answers to these questions:
1. What went well?
2. What can I celebrate this week?
3. Am I on track for my goals? If not, how can I get back on track for next week?
4. What challenges am I setting for myself?
5. Who is holding me accountable?
After I answer and reflect on these questions, I move onto my weekly budget.
1. How much money do I have? (Check all accounts.. checking, savings, business).
2. What bills need paid this next week?
3. Any additional expenses?
4. Am I on track with my money goals? If not, how can I adjust my budget or create more money?
This takes me maybe 30 minutes now but when I first started it took about an hour or so. Practice makes progress! When you FOCUS on your goals, make a plan and take ACTION, amazing things happen.
I don’t just hope and pray money will appear in my account (but that’d be nice 😉) and I don’t magically thing my goals will happen on their own. I create a plan and do my best to stick with it. Course correcting as needed.
Happy Friday people!!🙌🏼😉
