These athletes, who played before the NCAA settlement from 2016 to 2021, are filing lawsuits seeking compensation for their lost earning potential, challenging the NCAA's amateurism model and its financial implications for former athletes. They cover the alarming rise in sports card thefts, including a recent $2 million theft at a trade show, and highlight the lack of theft insurance for stolen cards, raising questions about auction house coverage and financial losses for collectors.
