On this short installment of Conduct Detrimental: THE Sports Law Podcast, Dan Lust (@SportsLawLust) is joined by Zachary Bryson (@ZacharySBryson) to discuss recent developments in the world of Sports Law.

The dynamic duo begin with a brief discussion of the questionably large betting line movements that have taken place in the days leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, which appears to be a more common occurrence.

Ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Reggie Bush made headlines again as he was formally recognized and had his Heisman Trophy and the honors that accompany it returned. Bush has also announced his intention to continue with a defamation lawsuit against the NCAA for statements made in July of 2021, which Zach and Dan share their opinions on.

Finally, the two briefly touch on the FTC's new regulation that would effectively ban all non-compete clauses in contracts, which has the potential to cause cascading effects across all employment sectors, especially sports agents.
