Amanda Christovich (@achristovichh) from Front Office Sports joins to discuss the recent ruling in the Gee v. NCAA trial. (6:52) Matthew Gee was a football player for USC and tragically passed away from CTE. Following his death, his wife filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the NCAA for alleged negligence in their awareness and disregard for concussions and proper treatment. The jury found that the NCAA was not negligent in the injuries Gee suffered leading to his death from CTE.

New York has signed into law that college athletes are now allowed to profit off their name, image, and likeness. (31:50) Holly Summers (@ProsecutieRests) is a 2L at New York Law School who works with NYLS NIL Pro Bono Project (@NYLS_NIL) Holly is also a contributor to Conduct Detrimental and wrote a recent piece discussing the recent legislation enacted in New York, which you can read here. Lane Kiffin was reported to be leaving Ole Miss and being hired at Auburn by WCBINEWS Sports Director Jon Sokoloff. (42:58) However, Lane tweets out this in response. Kiffin has maintained that he will remain with Ole Miss. Does Kiffin have any potential claims for defamation?
