Doug, Robb and our guest Michael Owens discuss the wave of proposed laws that would make it harder for people - especially people of color - to vote. Michael worked alongside Stacy Abrams to help turn out black voters in Georgia, an effort that arguably won back the senate for Democrats and made the recent stimulus bill possible.

Dr. Michael C. Owens is a third-generation veteran, a father, and a progressive Democrat who ran for Congress in Georgia’s 13th District. Michael served on the Georgia Advisory Committee with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and served as Chair of the Cobb County Democratic Party.  @owensforga13
