This week features the weirdest (& potentially the best) instalment of Doctor Aphra so far, where Aphra has been enslaved by the homicidal protocol droid Triple-Zero to assemble a crew to steal his lost memories from some of the most secure imperial archive facilities, causing further entanglement with imperial Magna Tolvan, the capture of rebel general Hera Syndulla, setting imperial experiments free and much more!

All 6 comics were written by Kieron Gillen & Simon Spurrier, with the artist Emilio Laiso and the colour artist Rachelle Rosenberg.

The first issue of this arc, number 14 was released November 2017, issue 19 was out April 2018 and the trade paperback collection was out July 2018.

Make sure you check out episode 42 of SWCIC for previous Aphra episode, ep 36 for the Screaming Citadel crossover (Aphra 7 & 8) and ep 34 for the first batch of Aphra comics (1-6).

In the last episode of SWCIC (ep 45), Mike tackled the 5-part mini-series TIE Fighter, created as a tie-in for the Alphabet Squadron novels, following a group of Imperial pilots attempt to rescue a star destroyer, uncover a traitor and have multiple flashbacks all while trying to not get killed in the process!

Mike now has a Patreon, where there’s an exclusive new show “Afterthoughts” (with 2 episodes being *FREE* to anyone – one of which is S1 of the Witcher series and the other is The Phantom Menace, as Mike & Megan have started a full Star Wars run-through), plus there are unsplit full-length episodes of GCC, additional photos (including early access to photos of comics for this show) and more, so if you want to support the show and get more content, check it out at http://patreon.com/genuinechitchat
