SWCIC: Quest Of The Jedi One-Shot: Origins Of The Rods Of Daybreak & Seasons To Control The Nameless, Plus Azlin Rell, The Kyber Arch & The Echo Stone - High Republic Phase 2 Wave 2, Dark Horse Ep 134

WE GO BACK FURTHER THAN EVER BEFORE IN CANON TO FIND THE POWER TO CONTROL THE NAMELESS! Ep 134’s focus is the only one-shot in Phase 2 of The High Republic; Quest Of The Jedi! This comic delves into the origins of the Echo Stone, which leads into the Rods of Daybreak & Seasons. The story is set almost 500 years before the Skywalker Saga, with two new Jedi and some extra information about Azlin Rell.

High Republic Adventures: Quest Of The Jedi was written by Claudia Gray with artwork by Fico Ossio and colours by Sebastian Cheng & Candace Han. It was released April 26th 2023 and no confirmation of a trade paperback release at the time of recording.

Phase 2 book reviews were released; Path Of Deceit on 7th Jan, Quest For Hidden City on February 14th, Convergence on March 18th, The Battle Of Jedha on April 22nd, Cataclysm on June 17th & Quest For Planet X on July 15th. The first volume of phase 2 Marvel comics were tackled in episode 126 (out May 13th 2023) and the first vol of High Republic Adventures comic (Dark Horse) were released in ep 132 (7th July).

In the last episode, THE JEDI’S GREATEST FEARS ARE REALISED WHEN THEY ARE TRAPPED WITH NAMELESS BEINGS, AS TOLD BY TY YORRICK! Ep 133’s focus is a story that crosses Phase 1 & 2 of The High Republic; The Nameless Terror! The main story takes place in phase 2 of THR, around the time of Cataclysm and the framing story shows the return of saber-for-hire/monster hunter Ty Yorrick! Tune in to hear who survives the encounter with these deadly beasts, plus Mike provides extra information along the way about the Path Of The Open Hand, Acklay and more!
