Star Wars: Comics In Canon - Ep 76: Spooky Stories From Fortress Vader Halloween Special! (Tales From Vader’s Castle #1-5)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! To celebrate this spooky time of year, Mike is delving into the canon comics by IDW Publishing; Tales From Vader’s Castle – 5 stories with many familiar faces, character information & connections all perfect for the Halloween season including Lina Graf, Hera & Kanan, Han & Chewie, Ewoks, Obi-Wan & Dooku, ghosts, vampire-bats, sacrifices and a whole bunch of references & connections to Star Wars and famous horror movies!

The continuous story is set somewhere in the original trilogy era (between 0ABY - 4ABY) and the other stories are all over the prequel & original trilogy era! The writer for these comics was Cavan Scott and Derek Charm is the artist & colour artist for the continuous story. The guest artists are Chris Fenoglio, Kelley Jones, Corin Howell, Robert Hack & Charles Paul Wilson III and the guest colour artists are Chris Fenoglio, Michelle Madsen, Valentina Pinto, Charlie Kirchoff & Michael Devito.

Issue 1 was released 3rd October 2018, Issue 5 was released 31st October 2018, the trade paperback collection was released May 2019 and the hardcover collection of this & the sequel collection Return To Vaders Castle was released January 2021.
