Mandatory Marvel & DC Ep5: Batman: Under The Red Hood Review

It is time for episode 5 of Mandatory Marvel & DC, a brand new show for the Comics In Motion network that looks back at the very biggest and best stories from the annals of the Big 2 - Marvel and DC!

Each episode, Max Byrne will be joined by a special guest to enjoy a chat about that week's subject matter, talking about what we love about these top tier titles!

For this fifth instalment, we look back at the masterpiece that is Batman - Under The Red Hood. Released across issues 635-641 of Batman in 2005, this seminal work by Judd Winnick and Doug Mahnke reintroduced the deceased Jason Todd into the DC continuity, in his new guise of The Red Hood! An emotional roller coaster that it is hugely significant in the pantheon of DC, the importance of this run cannot be emphasised enough.

This week, Max is joined by the amazing Tony Farina, host of the amazing Indie Comics Spotlight show and an incredibly prolific writer. As if that was not enough, he is also joined by Steve Ray, the owner of fantasticuniverses.com and Editor-in-Chief of darkknightnews.com. Both guests share their considerable expertise of the subject matter.
