In this episode I take a look at Milton Caniff’s comic strip masterpiece, Terry and the Pirates. Terry and the Pirates is one of the most popular and important adventure strips in the history of comics, and Caniff one comics’ greatest creators. Set in China in the 1930’s and ‘40’s, Terry Lee, Pat Ryan, Connie and Big Stoop face a cadre of Pirates, smugglers and femme fatales.
