In an attempt to fight against their late recording schedule, Mark and Grant prepared by listening to the Overture to Candide. They just thought you'd like to know that. They begin recording by briefly recapping their Thanksgivings.

Grant brings a Stone Soup comic to determine whether Mark has an inner dialogue. They both determine they at least occasionally perform inner monologues, and more frequently express their disaffection for other drivers on the road.

Mark brings a Moderately Confused comic so he can regale Grant with his travel woes. After briefly describing Grant's traveling pro-tips, they quickly devolve into verbal fisticuffs. Mark simply wants to whine about temperature changes, while Grant wishes Mark would grow up and wear a dang sport coat: the ultimate in flying fashion and function.
