Bustin’ makes me feel good! This episode, Retro Movie Reviews make their way to Comic Timing, and so does the crew of Chris Eberle, Adam Murdough, and Shane Kelly! The foursome is joined by none other than Danielle Corsetto to discuss her favorite movie of all time, Ghostbusters. They go through what makes the movie work so well forty years later, what almost was a movie with John Belushi and Eddie Murphy instead of Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, Dan Akroyd’s ability to be enthusiastic in every scene while Harold Ramis plays the weirdest straight man possible, the joy that is Annie Potts, Sigourney Weaver’s on-screen chemistry with both Murray and Rick Moranis, the special effects, Staypuff and Slimer and so much more. We also go into some ancillary material such as comic books over the years, The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, and oh so many toys.
