SHOWNOTES: We did say we would focus on good movies, BAD movies, AND everything else in-between, right? Well, folks, here is another bad movie review to behold and laugh our asses at the ridiculousness of it all: Uwe Boll's 2003 film adaption of the arcade game House of the Dead. The truth is, while it is cinematically awful on multiple levels, we truly enjoyed ourselves watching this and also discussing Uwe Boll's unique filmography, the distinctively cheesy action scenes in this flick, HOTD's frequent and ineffectual visual callbacks to the light gun arcade game series, and the hilariously bad dialogue and narrative that define the movie. Grab your arcade guns and choice of inebriating substances—a LOT of inebriating substances... and enjoy the ride!
