We trekked to our local cinema, and were floored by what has become one of the most successful slasher releases in quite a while—even beating It: Chapter One's giant October opening(!)—and we were stoked to talk about Jamie Lee Curtis' powerhouse performance, the truly menacing return of Michael Myers as "The Shape", the many callbacks to previous installments in the franchise, the absolutely jarring thematic elements, and even the show-stealing performance of young up-and-comer Jibrail Nantambu! We also give a little love to the Cinema Snob's series of reviews for the Halloween franchise, and celebrate the absolutely wonderful realization that BEN TRAMER LIVES!!!
