Two issues dominate the British public this week, one foreign and one domestic. While Putin recalling some troops back to their barracks may be a comforting sign to many, the situation in Ukraine is far from over and looks likely to continue to cause tension on the world stage until winter's end.
At home though, we look to be heading towards a cost of living crisis that could continue for years to come.
